This city has been corrupted.

Slowly but surely, selfish and powerful people have choked out everything this city had to offer. The mayor is a puppet of the mob. The cops are the puppet of the mayor. Everyone let this place go to Hell, and it’s only getting worse. People with unexplainable abilities are showing up, and they’re making the mob bosses look like saints.

You’re done taking it lying down.

You’ve got something these people fear. It might be your ability to beat them to a pulp if you wanted (and by God you’ve had to stop yourself a few times already). It might be your extensive array of tools. Your network of contacts. *Something*. You’ve met a few others who can fill in the gaps where you’re lacking, but one thing’s for sure.

Cape and Cowl is a Tabletop Roleplaying Game designed to capture the spirit of more grounded superheroes like Batman, the Phantom, Green Arrow, and Daredevil. Superheroes that have, at best, minor powers and rely more on martial training, wits, and a bit of luck at their core. You and your friends will fight against villains trying to exploit the city you’ve vowed to protect for their own personal gain.
